"Sparklehorse headman Mark Linkous has committed suicide on March 6th, as the musician’s spokesperson has confirmed. Mark Linkous is best remembered for his works with Sparklehorse. Mark Linkous who was also the producer for Daniel Johnston’s 2003 album “Fear Yourself,” had also joined hands with Danger Mouse for “Dark Night of the Soul”. Mark Linkous was in his 40’s and was working on a new album. No more information about the death of the musician has been made available as of yet.
